In 2019, we began pulling the pieces together to create what is now known as Kawartha Lakes Mini Bins Inc! We are a proudly local, family-owned and operated dumpster rental service.

Distributing our growing fleet of dumpster bins has given us the chance to meet local community members and help them with their garbage disposal needs, which has only reinforced our commitment to customer service and satisfaction. We love meeting and helping new people in our community!

FREQUENTLY ASKED DISPOSAL BIN RENTAL QUESTIONS

Through speaking with our customers, we’ve learned that you may have lots of questions about your dumpster bin rental so we’ve included a list of frequently asked questions along with answers in order to provide additional support.

If your question isn’t addressed below, a short phone call with us will be more than enough to get the dumpster size, pricing and availability information you need.

IS THE COST OF THE BIN THE ONLY CHARGE?

Your price includes the rental (the dumpster rental fee) as well as the disposal costs (the amount that it costs to dispose of your waste) which is currently charged at a rate of $105/metric ton.

IS THERE A DELIVERY CHARGE?

We ask for your address at time of booking to determine if you fall within the working radius of our standard rates. If not, you will be notified of your total bin rental cost at time of booking, which will include the cost for us to bring it to you as well as pick-up.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER CHARGES?

At the dump (in certain areas), we are charged an additional cost for mattresses & box springs, which ranges between $15-$25/item. You will see on your invoice if you include these items in your disposal bin.

If you need the bin longer than 7 days, there is also an additional charge of $10/day (beyond your initial 7 day rental). For extensions, we require a notice of AT LEAST 48 hours.

IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CANNOT PUT INTO THE DUMPSTER?

The only items that we do NOT accept in our bins are propane cylinders, tires, and hazardous waste (including paint, paint thinner, stains, varnish, oils, etc.). If there are any items that you are unsure of, please feel free to ask!

WHAT ITEMS CAN GO INTO THE DUMPSTERS?

Anything except for propane cylinders, tires and other hazardous waste (such as paint, paint thinner, stains, varnish, oils, etc.).

In your disposal bin, you may dispose of general household garbage (loose or bagged-black bags are acceptable), construction waste (ex. wood, drywall, insulation), furniture, appliances, electronics, or anything else you want to see disappear.
